This blend will awaken all your senses and transform your mood. You’ll be in even higher spirits when you see your skin glowing!

Why You'll Glow: Women’s skin in one study showed a healthy glow after drinking 1/2 cup of cacao high in flavonoids, due to an increase in circulation that lasted about 2 hours. A daily consumption of cacao may rejuvenate your complexion even more. Women who drank 1/2 cup of cocoa high in flavonoids every day for 12 weeks in another study had significantly softer, smoother, and better hydrated skin.*

Makes 2 Cups

3 cups of water
1 - 2 teaspoons of cacao
1 cinnamon stick
¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
A dash of cayenne pepper (Careful not to add too much or it may be too spicy. A little cayenne goes a long way)

1. Put water in a saucepan, add the cinnamon stick and bring water to boil.
1.	Simmer with just the cinnamon stick for about 10 minutes.
2.	Then add the cacao and continue to simmer in medium heat for 20-25 minutes until the water has reduced by half or until the cinnamon stick has unrolled and the water has absorbed the cinnamon essence.
4. Add the cayenne pepper, salt, and vanilla and simmer for another 2 minutes.

Serve and drink while hot. Enjoy!

Warning…you’ll want to have this everyday!

Tip: To reduce the boiling time, extract cinnamon essence in advance and keep in refrigerator. Combine 8 cups of water and 2-3 cinnamon sticks in a large saucepan and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Let cool and store water with the cinnamon sticks in the refrigerator until you are ready to use. When you are in the mood to have your Spiced Cacao Tea, take 2 cups of the cinnamon water, add the cacao and simmer for 5-10 minutes until cacao has dissolved. Then add the rest of the ingredients, simmer another 2 minutes, and enjoy!

*Read one of the studies about the effects of regular cacao consumption on the skin:
http://www.worldcocoafoundation.org/scientific-research/research-library/documents/Neukam2007.pdf
